Enjoy an underwater adventure aboard the Atlantis Submarine and reach depths down to 120 feet below sea level! Atlantis Submarine is a real passenger submarine. You will appreciate the air conditioned sub as you dive deep into the habitat of exotic sea creatures found in the Pacific Ocean. There are view ports all around the submarine for your viewing pleasure, so stay on the look out for rays, tropical fish and eels amidst the natural coral reefs.
Atlantis submarine is a unique experience, it is not the same experience as snorkeling and you will see different species of Maui's marine life. You and your family will learn about the underwater ecosystem from Atlantis Submarine's knowledgeable guides. They will go the extra mile for you and your family to insure your questions are answered.
New to the Atlantis Adventure is the brig "Carthaginian". The Carthaginian, an authentic whaling vessel, was once a popular tourist attraction in Lahaina Harbor and is now anchored a half-mile off shore in 95 feet of water that has become an artificial reef for Maui's marine life. Your total tour time is approximately 1.5 - 1.75 hours. You will be "shuttled" our to the submarine from Lahaina Harbor, which takes about 15 - 20 minutes each way. You will be on the submarine for approximately 50 - 60 minutes.
Please be sure that you can climb up and down a ladder to enter the sumbarine. Children must be at least 3 ft. tall to participate in this adventure. The Atlantis Submarine departs Lahaina Harbor at 9am/10:00am/12:00pm/2:00pm daily. Please specify when placing your reservation which tour time you prefer.
