Maui Parasailing |
All of the boats are referred to as "winch boats". What this means is that the boat stores it's towline on a big reel and the captain operates a winch to wind the line in or out. Up to six passengers are taken on one trip. The Captain will head the boat into the wind and the crew will inflate the parachute so it begins flying at the back of the boat. The first rider is lead by the crew to the back of the boat and the rider's harness is clipped to the parachute. The rider then sits down into the harness, which works like a chair. You sit there very much like a school child on a swing in the park. The captain now accelerates the boat and begins to unwind the towline. You gently rise up into the air, higher and higher, to the top of the line. The flight is amazingly quiet and relaxing. The views of the ocean, mountains and hotels are breathtaking. After awhile the captain will reverse the winch and wind you back down to the boat. As you gently land on your feet at the back of the boat, the crew arrives to unsnap your harness from the parachute and another flier is quickly hooked up! |

Price is based per person. Includes a duration of 7 minutes at 400 ft. Observers are permitted (only one per boat) and based on availability. West Maui Parasail offers reservations for the 400' parasail from 8:30 am - 4 pm, every half hour.
Seasonal May 16th through December 14th. Departs daily from Lahaina Harbor or Ka'anapali Beach. Observers can join you for $35.00 (only one observer per boat). Please specify in the notes when making your reservation if you would like to add an observer to your reservation. We will adjust your amount due to include the $35 per observer.
Early Bird specials are available on the 8:00am flight each day. If you would like to check availability for the early bird parasail, please specify in notes when making your reservations. No observers are permitted on the early bird parasail time.

Double your height with West Maui Parasail to 800 feet above the ocean! You take off and land from the boat, just like the 400' parasail. You can choose to be dipped or come in dry. Just remember to tell the captain which you prefer, especially if your family is on the boat while you are 800' up in the air. They may have a different plan for you! A safe and unique way to get a panoramic view over the islands away from traffic and crowds. Limited 6 passengers per boat. Single and tandem flights offered. Price is based per person. Includes a duration of 10 minutes at 800 ft. Parasailing is scheduled at 1/2 hour intervals. Please specify in notes, when making your reservation, which time you would prefer and if you would like to add an observer for $35 (only one per boat, based on availability).

No Pregnant Or Back Problems. UFO Parasailing is done in 30 minute intervals from 8am to 6pm daily from May 16th - December 14th.
