Haleakala is one of the world’s largest volcanoes. Skyline Eco-Adventures has combined a short ¼ mile hiking experience with four Zipline crossings. The galvanized aircraft cable gets longer over each gulch! Skyline has added a new 330-foot long zipline and a 160-foot long swinging bridge to their current tour! All aspects of the course and every piece of equipment are held to the highest standards of safety. The course is engineered and constructed to exceed all industry safety standards, the course is comprised of 3/8 inch thick galvanized aircraft grade steel cable, tested to hold over 14,400 lbs. We highly recommend this tour for you at 12:30pm with a morning Haleakala ATV 3-Hour tour. The check in is at the same location in Haleakala. Skyline Eco-Adventures offers this adventure at 8:30 am, 9:30 am, 12:30 pm, 2:00pm & 3:00pm daily.

The minimum weight requirement is 80 lbs. and you must be at least 10 years old. The maximum weight allowed is 260 lbs. and you must be physically able to hike a 1/2 mile at a high elevation, on uneven terrain. No serious back or joint problems and no pregnant women, please. You are required to wear long pants and closed toe shoes. Hikers must be at least 6 years old. A maximum of 12 people are in a group. The complete tour is approximately 2 hours and you must check in 30 minutes prior to the start of your adventure.

Looking for adventure, yet want to spend less time on the ATV? This Haleakala ATV tour is perfect for you! Maui’s Haleakala Ranch offers you thick forests, rolling pastures, rocky streambeds, steep climbs and many photo opportunities. Your ATV adventure is approximately 6-7 miles round trip through the Haleakala Ranch, consisting of 30,000 plush acres. The views are phenomenal and there are many photo opportunities. You will enjoy a continental breakfast when you check in for the morning tour. The afternoon tour provides chips, water and soda for your enjoyment.

Driving time from Lahaina/Kapalua is approximately 1.5-2hrs. Driving time from Kihei/Wailea is approximately 1-1.5hrs. Location is at the Haleakala Ranch Outpost, 2.5 miles up Crater road (Highway 37, Haleakala Highway to Highway 377, turn left, go 6 miles to Highway 378 and go 2.5 miles). A driver of an ATV must be a least 16 years old with a valid drivers license. Only 1 person per ATV is allowed. Children under 16 years or those of you that choose not to drive an ATV; yet, you would like to join the rest, are welcome in the 4-wheel drive jeep for a rugged ride with the rest of the ATV drivers! Closed toed shoes and long pants are recommended. Dress in layers, the weather changes dramatically at the higher elevations. All helmets, rain gear and gloves are provided to you. Tour is offered at either 9am or 2pm. Please specify your preference at check-out.
